Which Odors Do You Train For?
We train dogs to detect a range of odors. Field dogs are trained solely on illegal narcotics. School dogs are also trained to detect controlled substances, alcohol, and/or tobacco. Soon we will have a Bomb Detection Dog available for call outs.    ^

How Do We Start?

A preliminary meeting will answer any questions regarding legal issues, references, and procedure. We customize a search package that fits your needs.  You schedule the time and date of each event. We keep it confidential.   ^

Who Performs The Searches?

Our dogs indicate on odor. Your staff is responsible for the actual searching on your property. Law enforcement should be brought into search vehicles not on your property.  Our drug interdiction specialist can teach your staff to search more efficiently.      ^

Are Your Dogs Scary or Do They Bite?

Absolutely not. We use people friendly dogs like Border Collies and Labrador Retrievers.  Some of our drug dogs are also Therapy Dogs.    ^

Are The Sweeps Disruptive?
To minimize "lock down time" we use more teams for larger schools. We have 6 handlers and 9 dogs available for service.

A small school with 300 lockers on one level takes 10 minutes. A two-story building with 1,300 students can be done in less than 30 minutes. One team can sweep a parking lot with 80 vehicles in 15 minutes.      ^

Why Does Your Program Work?
Regular random sweeps keeps the students guessing!  Statistics from one area school are as follows:

              1st Search = 26 positive indications

              5th Search =  7 positive indications

Now in this school, the actual finds range from tobacco to prescription drugs, but no illegal narcotics have been found!

The quantity and frequency of our visits makes our program successful. One search a year does NOT eliminate the presence of drugs. K-9 officers are already overloaded with their responsibilities. We are here to fulfill a void and keep the cost of overtime down.   ^

What Other Services Do You Offer?
Handler and K-9 training.  Search and Rescue classes.  Emergency tracking call outs.  We also perform traffic operations and emergency drugs call outs.     ^
